St John the Baptist, Wonersh - Find Us - Map
The ancient Parish of Wonersh has at it's heart the church of St John the Baptist which is largely built in traditional style with 1000 years of history, the oldest part dating from the 11th century with additions/rebuilding in the 14th, 15th and,18th centuries and a substantial refurbishment in 1901. It holds about 300 people when completely full. There is a peal of eight bells.
The church is situated on the edge of the village, within a quiet churchyard, now closed for burials.
Good car park facilities, with external lighting, are close by within the church grounds with additional Sunday morning car parking about 200 metres from the church.
The porch, added in the 1990's, includes a useful meeting room, known as the Selwyn Room, kitchen and toilets. The church office is also in the porch and the church secretary is available on most days of the week. The north Chapel, known as the Lady Chapel, is used regularly for our Thursday morning services.
St Martin's Blackheath - Map

At the heart of the Parish of Blackheath Surrey is St Martin’s which was built in 1893 as a prime example of the work of the Arts and Crafts Movement. It is said to have been modelled on an Italian wayside chapel, but it is admirably suited to its surroundings on an English heath. It is in basilican form (oblong hall) instead of the traditional cruciform (cross shape).

Wonersh Church Hall is situated about a third of a mile from the church, in the heart of the village. It is a Victorian building but it has a modern kitchen, toilets, new flooring and central heating. It comprises the main hall known as Lawnsmead plus the adjacent Turner Room. The parish youth leader has an office there and there is a small car park.
