Colin Sowter. Mainly a Sunday ministry, leading and preaching. Former Crusader Leader for 30 years, retired businessman and Management Consultant. Priested in 1992.

 I am an addicted golfer, playing international matches for Church of England clergy.

James Cooke . Organises the rota of service leading and preaching, co-ordinates the work of the homegroups, and is especially keen to encourage the work of God in Blackheath. Christian formation through SU Camps at Iwerne Minster. Retired early from teaching Maths at Cranleigh School in 2005. Priested in 2008. His wife, Nicky, is the Leader of work with Children and Young Families.  

I am an unsuccessful gardener and birdwatcher, also obsessed with cricket statistics.

Liz Tilley. Special responsibility for ministry to the elderly, providing support, reaching out to them and helping them grow in faith. Mission partner with Crosslinks in East Africa for 31 years, helping to train church leaders. Retired and returned to this country in 2005. Priested in 2008.

 I enjoy being outside, walking or gardening, especially in my large vegetable plot, and eating or sharing the produce.

 Keith Bateson. Chairs the Overseas Ministries Support Team.  Reader from 1988-2000. Priested in 2001. Professional electronic engineer. Since 1984 a Senior Lecturer at the University of Surrey (retired 2007).

I have had 15 years’ experience as a foster carer  with my wife Hilary. Golfer of sorts…

Brenda Williams LLM (formerly Reader) with PTO. Supports Liz with the Seniors, teaching and leading discussions at monthly Thursday morning services. Widow of former ordained medic., retired health visitor, was Crosslinks Mission partner, still involved with overseas visits. Licensed in the Diocese of Harare in 1996 as sub-deacon and in St Alban’s Diocese 2003 as Reader.

 I have a passion for grandchildren galore, and arts and crafts when time permits.
