As a general rule no personal information is included in the website, particularly addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses. Some details applicable to the Staff, Ministry Team and event organisers are included.
Selected church documents, handouts & flyers are uploaded as "attachments". These are unamended and may have some contact details of individuals. In this form they are not searchable by search engines or bots and therefore are considered relatively secure from abuse.
A few pages are limited to "members only" using an I/D and password. These are made widely known in the villages. The object is to prevent access by search engines and bots. The purpose of these pages is to provide information of interest only to the local church community.
Photographs of adults are only included with their permission, this having been requested verbally at the time of taking the photograph. Photograps of the Ministry Team & formally constituted teams are on public pages; any others are on "members pages".
Generally NO photographs of children are included and they are never named. Access to the Parish Photo Galleries (Flickr & Smugmug) are linked through a locked page.
In the News Section, a feed from Blogger, items are NOT searchable by search engines or bots. Items are generally copied directly from church sources including the weekly News Sheet.
