Celebrate the joy of Christmas with us at St John’s Wonersh! Throughout December, we’re hosting a series of festive gatherings for all ages — a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community, share in the warmth of the season, and reflect on the hope of Christ’s birth.
Carols by Candlelight – Saturday 21st December, 6pm
Come and experience the beauty of Christmas through carols old and new, sung by candlelight in the peaceful glow of St John’s. This special evening blends music, readings, and reflection as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Stay afterwards for mulled wine and mince pies.
Nativity Service – Tuesday 24th December, 4pm
Gather on Christmas Eve for our joyful Nativity Service — a lively retelling of the Christmas story, complete with costumes, carols, and lots of fun for children and families. Whether you come in shepherd’s robes or angel wings, everyone has a part to play in this celebration of God’s love come near.
Christmas Day – Wednesday 25th December, 10:30am
Rejoice with us on Christmas morning as we celebrate the birth of Christ! This joyful all-age service is a time to gather in worship, sing favourite carols, and give thanks for the gift of Jesus. Everyone is warmly invited to join the celebration — a beautiful start to Christmas Day.
