We meet during term time at The Vicarage, starting just before 10am and coming into church in time for the last hymn.
At St.John's we run a unique model of Kids and Family Church, whereby all the children are together and parents are welcome to stay if they wish. We offer tea, coffee and croissants throughout the session for adults and we love the fact that this time helps grow deeper inter-family friendships.
Each session comprises an initial input where we look at much-loved Bible stories and chat about how these are relevant in our lives today. We play games, do craft activites, sing and share snacks. We really enjoy our time together and the hour flies past.
Families with babies are welcome in church: we love the sound of young children anywhere, but if you're more comfortable there is an area to the side of the church laid out with toys to give you a bit more space. If you need a change of scene at any time (or nappy facilities!), please do pop over to the vicarage with your baby.
