Attendance at Services

Everyone is welcome to join our services within the Parish.

St John's Wonersh

10am Sunday Morning Worship Service

We would love to welcome you to our contemporary morning service each week - a mixture of engaging teaching, prayer, band-led worship and well-loved hymns suitable for the whole family. We have a 'Kids Church' operating during this service where all children would be welcome (see Children and Families for more details here ). There is a church car park but it will tend to get full quite early; additional parking is available on Sundays at Wonersh Surgery just along the road in the centre of Wonersh. .

We continue to make available by livestream our Morning Worship via YouTube. This can be enjoyed by streaming at home. To share in this time of teaching and worship, you can find our services on our YouTube channel.

8am Said Communion Service
On the second and fourth Sunday of each month there will be a spoken Communion service in Wonersh Church.

10.30am Midweek Thursday Service
There will be a weekly midweek service in Wonersh Church at 10.30am every Thursday for those who are retired. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends and integrate into the life of the village. The services vary each week, from Communion to Morning Prayer and our very own 'Discovery' service. For more details see the calendar of events or click here .

Every Tuesday at 9.30am

We hold a service of Morning Prayer every Tuesday in St John's, from 9.30 - 10am.  We follow one of the various prayer apps or the standard liturgy, allowing 10-15 minutes for open prayer (but feel free simply to come, be silent and enjoy the presence of God!).

St. Martin's, Blackheath

10am Sung Communion
On the first Sunday of each month there will be a Sung Communion service using the Common Worship format. There is a choir helping lead this service; parking is available at the village hall, a short walk away, or with care on the road and nearby car parks closer to the Heath.

6pm Choral Evensong
On the third Sunday of each month there will be a Choral Evensong service following the BCP outline and with an engaging talk.

6pm Silent Prayer for 30 minutes
On the fourth Sunday of each month there will be a Julian-style Meeting. This meeting takes place at 6pm and provides the opportunity to spend 30 minutes in silence following spiritual direction, in order to meet with, pray to, and meditate on the character of God.
